I got out of an "exhibition of speed" (AKA looking like you are going to go fast, but not yet speeding) ticket once for telling the truth. I was getting onto the freeway (so duh I am on the gas) in a friends car. I am used to driving a diesel pickup, so getting on the freeway is always foot on the floor. Apparently

I seriously hated that issue with Taskbar icons for quite a while. Luckily, I think Lifehacker actually did a post on this:

I actually make a habit out of dressing as down as possible for any event. I make sure to stay within the customary dress-code for whatever it is I am attending, but I see clothes as just a means of covering up what other people don't want to see. I expect my clothes to be comfortable, and I am not willing to forgo my

Wow. And 143 means I love you in little teenager speak.

My first thought before reading anything was that it looked like an MDX. This takes my vote.

Is anyone else amazed that Google, King of Ads, does not have an ad supported version of their streaming music player? I mean, every one of their competitors does...

I always thought the way my parents did "allowances" was quite interesting. I didn't get paid for doing chores as they always thought, "You live here. You work here. We are feeding and housing you, so it's your job to keep this place livable."

I think they should just not tell anyone that it has auto-braking. Then people would drive normally, and hopefully they would never notice that their car is helping them out.

Interesting. I just exported them. Do keep in mind, I'm still on Gingerbread, so I have the older version of Tasker. There might be an issue with the variables or something also.

Now that makes a lot more sense. Kinda spaced on the other 2 strokes in a four stroke engine.

What is that?

I was always under the impression that no 2 cylinders ever fired at the same time. To make it seem as though there was continuous force. This totally broke my thinking.

This is one of those reasons that I think everyone should do some sort of sport in their lifetime. There is nothing quite like hating someone's guts one minute, and then once the competition is over, turning right around and doing all you can to make sure things are going well for them.

I did not know that you could use JavaScript in Tasker. I think you just ruined my productivity at work for the next week. Thank you!

Reading out text messages. This will turn town your media volume, and read the text message over a different channel so you can have it running while playing music. You might want to tweak how far down the media volume is changed to, and decide if you want it to actually read the message at full blast. Also, sometimes

Auto-Response while driving (Only works if plugged into power, if connected to WiFi, doesn't run because that causes issues. Also, change NetworkSSID to your WiFi SSID):

So with this ROM, that's actually sort of a trick question. It has a built in delay between doing the switch. That way if you just turn on the screen to check the time, it doesn't do the work of switching. So it has a 5 second delay for me right now, and I don't normally notice the switch.

One of my favorite features of my current ROM is that it switches from 4G to 3G when my screen turns off. Saves my battery life like crazy. I haven't found any other ROMs for any other phones that do this.

That Break-In Report one is awesome. I was thinking of borrowing the idea from you, but then I realized that my phone is in my pocket almost all of the time.
