Also Matt, what you see is what you get in those pictures. It’s not like Best Buy is Costco or Sam’s. That’s probably their ENTIRE stock of water, except what may still be in their isle coolers. The salesperson or manager isn’t making commission on water sales, guy. I also seriously doubt that Best Buy corporate

They’re not stupid, of course they’re apologizing. Regardless of right and wrong, the unhinged rage machine that is the internet would’ve forced them to apologize regardless of the circumstances as damage control.

That makes as much sense as the “magical man” theory.

Contrary to the poor reporting, those are not medical devices unless people’s heads are measured in meters. It looks like an artillery sight for helping the user figure out where their rounds are going to land. Upthread, someone translated it.

If this person is a collector of that sort of stuff, can they just seize it? That seems weird.

Wow. When the NAZIs find a way to thaw out Hitler from his cryogenic sleep he is gonna be pissed that they gave away all his things.

Evil and marketing seem to go well together. I am not a typographical expert, but I do kind of notice things, and it just seems off to me. Like something from the 60s or maybe even later, like you mention.

Interesting. I don’t know enough about period German stuff to notice typeset on the etchings. The swastika is pretty pronounced, but then then, they did believe in branding!

The font on the “schusswinkel” charts. It doesn’t seem to be of the period. The swastika also seems a little too prominent for something of this nature. Like it was intended to be looked at later.

Shh don’t let simple facts get in the way of hysteria.

These aren’t medical devices. These are instrument to measure ballistics (ie artillery)

It probably came, piece by piece, in the mail.

Medical device?

I’m a bit fuzzy here on the article as written.. was there a reason this persons house was raided? The original article doesn’t specifically state that. Is it illegal in Argentina to possess Nazi artifacts, or were these just seized as part of another criminal type investigation?
