I am Australian and I thought it was a bit much.

The only thing that I'm concerned about regarding the amnesia and the (too convenient) addition of that doctor (of questionable motives and an even more questionable accent) is that the writers are trying to retread the Jack-Emily-Aiden love triangle. I'm so done with the Jack and Emily pairing.
