I upvoted because I do NOT care at all about Grey Worm / Missandei. They keep cutting scenes from the book that would give us background for why things are the way they are, and then insist on showing this couple.

I know. I found it so incredibly poignant that Aemon got to hear that his Dany still lived and had managed to hatch some dragons. A little enough reward for such a long life of sacrifice.

The worst case of destructive shipping I can think of is Smallville, where fandom would regularly tear itself apart. Clana, Chlark, Clois, Chlois, Clex - it was such a mess! I loved it though.
