Sorry, I might have taken your post too seriously, my fault! I still get defensive regarding anything Zune-related. I really loved that device and I hate that it never got the love it deserved.

I hope they didn’t. People can make the jokes about it, which I suppose are well-founded to some degree, but I enjoyed the brown Zune. It personally reminded me of a calming forest with the slight green in the rim of the device.

I think this might be the one I’m thinking of. I definitely created some false memory of stuff that wasn’t there, but the point remains:

There’s some old comic online somewhere of one person saying to another something along the lines of, “Just give this show some time, ignore the terrible special effects, questionable acting, and bad story lines, and you’ll enjoy it, I promise!”

The problem here though is that a lot of times this stuff goes unchecked, and then before you know it you have an OS rife with design inconsistencies. I don’t even know if I’d call these “bugs”. They’re just poor attention to detail.
