Wow, a sci-fi novel series/movie with 4 female protagonists?! Two of them ethnic minorities?! I thought that was impossible.

I find Michiel Huisman so insufferable, and I think he shouldn't have a career at all. It really burns me that he's been cast in GoT, Orphan Black, and Treme.

I can't discern whether this is sarcastic or not, but I was planning on earnestly posting the same sentiment.

HD seems to be leaning towards nostalgic wish fulfillment lately.

According to Dunham on the HBO extra, she based this episode on Panic in Needle Park. Which made me like the ep a little less.

Animals must be really cheap to produce, because there is zero non-financial logic to keeping it and canceling Togetherness.

Oh yes, of course There was probably some legal restrictions between the two titles, I'm assuming. No artist would want that association.

Thank you for giving me the courage to admit that I have a forbidden love for Rhinestone Cowboy. I wish I could attach a clip of the way Stallone says 'Drinkensteyan'.

I can't understand why The Bronze got a release at all, let alone a wide release.

Is this really worth the now total of $25? The eps are so short. I'm a big Louis CK fan, but my cash is tight and I already spend it on HULU/Netflix/HBO Now. I can't decide if this is something I should skip.

Well fuck me gently with a chainsaw.

Applebee's has a specific take out protocol and special parking places for pick up.

No mention of weekly reviews?

That's a bold statement to make around these parts. He's pretty much universally adored at the AVC. I can see your point, though. His acting style is a little more theatrical than what is common nowadays. But that's the reason I like him.

I learned that as well, and then became obsessed with her complete transformation thru the next 20 years. She seriously reconstructed her entire face. It looks good, but it's a very shocking change.

Baller move.

Interesting, this murky business of show.

I guess it can work to the artist's benefit, but only if there aren't emotional or physical damages and only if the studio happens to like what the artist is making. The latter poses a lot of problems as well, and results in frustrated artists and/or terrible albums. Or name changes as is the case with Prince.

Right? That alone makes me dislike him.

This is why the industry is losing money. Beyond their lack of emotional support for Kesha, why would it even be in their interest to force her into 6 more albums? Is there a demand for that? Why is everything contract based instead of a pay for 'play' type of business model?
