I choose to see that as a direct parody of Downton Abbey. The most scheming servants at Downton also seem to have a questionable motive.

'Michelle Ashford' — I wonder if she's related to Annaleigh who plays Betty.

'It also may be the producers way of acknowledging that one of the pair's children was the subject of a sting operation in an attempt to get him to stop jerking off in front of strangers: here' —Wha?! Can you please elaborate or steer me to some other resource.

It's also worth noting that Bill and Virginia eventually divorce.

Unfortunately, I think that has a lot to do with the actress' performance. I don't think she's being directed very well.

Semantics usually create problems when discussing this topic, but isn't 'adoring' someone and 'respecting' them some kind of love? I think the problem with conflating love and sex is the misuse of the word 'love'. Contrary to what the old marriage vows state, love doesn't mean being obedient or monogamous.

Lizzy was on Kimmel a couple of weeks ago and said that Sarah Silverman filmed a sex scene with another woman. Jimmy made some crack about how he couldn't get her to do that when they were together.

This is a surprising 180 from NBC. i'm not going to get too excited about this until I see a trailer.

Right! Loved the tidbit that he missed his Actor's Studio graduation to film the sex scene.

I believe at the same time as the new series. I didn't notice it until a couple of days ago.

I can see your point, but that is the exact reason I like it, and probably the big reason I like the movie and series. There has always been a 'let's put on a show' quality about their work.

Not really, but it does feature the (at the time) very young cast drinking cheap beer and cracking jokes. The original film was shot at a real camp ground, and they all lived in the bunks together during filming.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned before, but I highly recommend watching Hurricane of Fun on Netflix. It's a very loose and behind the scenes doc, with pretty bad production values and poor audio. It's still worth it, though. Especially for die hard fans.

I concur, and I've had the same thought since the beginning. It could also be a 4 hour 2 night film which HBO has done many times before. Not only does it hinder the plot development, but it results in episodes that are inconsistent in tone. These problems make it impossible for the The Brink to be a truly good

Damian Lewis is letting his American accent falter a bit.

..a salad and a girl drink.

The baby in Venezuela is definitely Velcoro's. Ani stated that she owed something to him and his 'sons'.

This comment is the funniest thing I've read all day.

That would be interesting. However, there's the Scorcese/Dicaprio pic about Holmes to look forward to.

I notice it.
