I was freaking out when Tormund was fighting that guy. I actually told my husband “he can’t die, he hasn’t slept with Brienne yet”. This whole episode Tormund was cracking me up, I was very concerned he wasn't gonna make it.

There was a moment where I thought he was going to die down there, and that’s a damn credit to the show. I thought the answer to the question, “Who kills John Snow?*” was going to be a panicked mass of his own men, by accident. The most GRRM thing ever.

The scene where Jon was suffocating was just excellent television. I had trouble breathing during it.

Are there nits to pick? Yes.

That was epic. The battlefield scenes outside Winterfell were the best I have ever seen on television, and it might just be the awe of the moment, but I can’t remember a film that did any better either.

I didn’t care about the predictability at all. I am just SO HAPPY! I can’t wait for next week’s opening with the wolf head on Winterfell.
