For low to medium impact bras, I love Girlfriend. I pretty much only wear the scoop bra and tommy bra from there these days. I also like that they aren’t cross back bras, which give me shoulder pain.

Head Over Feet was always my favorite song from Jagged Little Pill, and I think it still holds up! The other songs though, no thank you.

I recommend reading the linked thread from “the Machado woman,” as you so dismissively call her, before stating that she seems to be “stretching things a bit.”

My first job out of grad school was in higher ed, in an office that was supposedly social justice oriented. My director, a man of color, called to offer me the job and told me point blank that the salary was not negotiable. Being young and uninformed, I didn’t try to negotiate and accepted the job. I later learned

Have you ever tried taking biotin? It helps hair grow faster, and it makes nails stronger too. Find it in the vitamin aisle or on Amazon.

Yes. Please star this comment from Jacqueline Keeler, to boost it up some more. She included a Storify.

Thank you for the Storify link. <3 Looking forward to reading your Medium piece.

Thank you for writing and sharing this. I’m excited to keep reading your work. ~ platypi

I love reading these product diaries. You look lovely.

I learned about the Nazi plot when reading the Montmaray Journals, by Michelle Cooper! Which I think you would enjoy, btw, as a fellow Outlander fan (not exactly the same genre but you know).

I’ve seen Marmite at World Market, if you have one of those by you. For a prawn cocktail Pringle potential sub, have you ever tried shrimp chips from an Asian grocery store?

Meh, I don’t know if the pink kitty ears are powerful, but I enjoy knitting (and cats) and whipped a hat together and sent it to DC. It brought me joy.

I commented separately already, but wanted to put in a shameless plug here for these sweatshirts in case you and your feminist friends are interested (all proceeds benefit a scholarship for women students at the U of M). :) We’ll be holding our own signs at the Minnesota march!

We’re hoping to get a bunch of people together with these hats and sweatshirts for the Minnesota march (all proceeds support a scholarship at the U of MN). There’s a lot of work to be done here in terms of advancing gender equity. The hats are only available in person but sweatshirts are available online until January

Of course! If you know any Minnesotans, send them to buy one for you. :)
