Is...pushing the horse BETTER?

According to the police report, she yelled at the horse to spook it, tried pushing it, as shown in the video, then she hit the horse.

I feel bad for the horse. It’s probably just wondering....”can we go home now? I want hay and a carrot”.

She first pushed the horse, and then she was off camera for a period of time before re-appearing and moving back through the crowd. Her behavior seems to comport with what the officer said in his report, and she certainly could have slapped the horse while she was off camera. Also, a reporter said they saw her do it.

Don’t buy it. Horses don’t tend to trample people on purpose. When people get trampled by horses, it’s because it was unavoidable, ie, there was no other place for the horse to go without itself falling over.

Calling people assholes is a REALLY GREAT way to win folks over to your side and prove that you’re a reasonable person with reasonable opinions! Good job!

Yeah but she slapped a horse. Animals don’t want to be there, don’t hit them. I’m kind of an asshole in every regard except when it comes to animals.

Not only is it cruel to slap a horse, but it is extremely DUMB. First you try to ‘scare’ the horse. Police horses are very well trained, and trained to deal with stuff like this. Horses are as trainable as dogs. It will not care about your screaming (or slapping).
