Most of California (including the county where I live) is under stay-at-home orders and this walking piece of white privilege decided it was a good idea to take her kids to Michaels? *smh*

I’m so excited! I thought since I’m not working at the testing site any more (I know so much more noses than I ever thought I would) I would be very far down the list for a vaccine, but I’m scheduled for 9:40 am on Monday!

Seriously why the hell do so many people use the front seat of their car as a film studio?

Except his second example is *not* based on someone’s poor behavior, but on a situation that the employee had no control over.

That’s because good people that wouldn’t do those types of things have gone soft. it started in the 1960's when the ideological left stupidly attached itself to the non violence movement. There was a time when rapists would be the ones ghosted and their property taken and/or destroyed. The left needs to become violent

Problem is, the humor has leached out of those observations over the years.  Now he just seems angry and mean.

I’d like to preface this by saying that while I’m working to become a better person, I don’t suffer fools or incompetent people lightly. I report bad service to managers, and I think all kinds of mean thoughts in my head. I badmouth poor service and companies that consistently provide poor service. I read the riot act

Remember when in SantaLand Diaries he talked about assholes who’d threaten to fire him? How times have changed.

You were there?! Tell us more of what really happened!

It could be woke as hell, it’s still boring and is directly responsible for making generations of high school students hate reading.

Yep. I read about 100-150 books a year so I feel it is fair to say I read a lot. Although my preference is sci-fi and fantasy I do dabble in other genres. I find most classics to be lacking. A lot of them are classics because of age and that is it. There is no reason to not bring in more modern books and books with

I also think that one of the most important reasons we should cultivate a love a reading is empathy and emotional intelligence. If we provide young people with a variety of literature that allows them to experience new worlds and viewpoints, we create better rounded adults than if we beat them over the head with the

Can they yes, will they hell no.  As long as some money goes to the poor the Republican Senators will block it.

Not just that, but also that there aren’t really any libs to “own” on Parler, and they have to face the fact that’s their entire reason for being.  Like, it just isn’t fun to be intentionally antagonistic if there is no one to actually antagonize.

You’re... making... excuses... for... this... guy?

Fuck you hard and sideways.

Thank you- this was my response to it too.

Uhh - I suggested the other day in a comment that some vaccines may work differently than others (based on reports from leading scientific organizations - which I provided links to) and you simply responded and said “that’s not accurate” and then refused to explain when several of us asked what you meant.

It’s not a slogan for politicians. It’s a policy demand from the people, being said *to* politicians.

practice empathy. if you don’t know that its a song reference and you belonged to a group of people who had been enslaved, how would you feel seeing “Happiness is Slavery”?

My eyebrows won’t forget, that’s for sure.
