Yeah I don’t think anyone shamed her for getting work done. She can and should absolutely do whatever the hell she wants to do to feel good about her looks because she’s a grown ass woman. But, I mean the change to her look was pretty shocking and just made most people, myself included, just kind of cock our

From the comment section on the source article: “I don’t even know who either of these people are, but I must say, as a straight black man who loves white girls messiness...this is top shelf."

I honestly think she was just Botoxed to hell in those weird pics so she couldn’t scrunch her eyes closed as much as we were used to seeing. Plus the less than flattering make-up and weirdly ungroomed eyebrows...it all added up to a strange effect on someone who was usually so polished and distinctive looking.

Here’s my essay: I also was friends/roommates with a magnetic pathological liar for several years. It was bad and shitty. When I was 23 I told her I was moving out and that she should get therapy because no one could trust a damn thing she said. Last I heard she had a kid and I felt sorry for it. The end.

I thought she was great in “Dumplin’” That was a fine performance.

How in the worlds an adult do you do that to a teen girl and not realize you are the villain in this story?

She’s literally the perfect rock star. People want female rock stars to fail, and Courtney won’t let it happen.

Say what you want about Courtney Love - she’s a genuine fucking rock star, with songs that stand the test of time (did I listen to Doll Parts on repeat for 3 hours yesterday while crying at my desk because of period cramps? Perhaps)

One thing that must be understood about narcissistic parents is that they frequently pit their kids against each other. The special bond between (normal, healthy) siblings is seen as a threat to the parent.

I saw my guidance counselor exactly one time in high school and I got into every school I applied to. What would a guidance counselor do? Why is it their fault? Did I not need guidance?  🤔

I took it as “my kid is stupid, and I need to pay people off so my social circle won’t find out my kid is stupid.”  I feel bad for the kid in all this.

Just a technical bugaboo: Sophia Grace Macy graduated from LA High School for the Performing Arts, which is a magnet school for kids in the LA Unified School District, NOT part of the Beverly Hills Unified School District. Beverly Hills High has long had its own superb performing arts program for its students.

Note that I think Felicity Huffman definitely was in the wrong and deserves criminal consequences.  On the school thing though, I think I read somewhere that Huffman’s daughter (at least the one they bought the scores for) went to a public magnet arts school. It’s entirely possible the guidance program there would be

Anyone else here want to tell William Macy to STFU and take some responsibility as well for HIS children as well?! Court documents revealed he knew what was going on. Way to through your wife under the bus.

I can never get over the fact that this whole thing does play out exactly like an episode of Desperate Housewives, with Felicity Huffman doing exactly what Lynette would do. Taking out on and blaming everyone else her and her family’s bad behavior, and screaming “I’M A GOOD MOTHERS!!!111!!” when someone calls her out

I’ve always actually thought you can only enjoy the book if you are able to overlook its really weird thrown together elements. Some people love the mystic turtle shit, I always thought it would be stronger without (though I guess if you got into the Dark Tower stuff, it probably made you retroactively like it a lot

I really enjoyed chapter one, and I’m really frustrated that I can’t see chapter two over the weekend... but I still say that this had “six part mini series” written all over it.

Two days ago, someone asked me if I knew what a VSCO girl was. After it was explained to me, this was how I felt.

Indeed. My hair texture (or lack thereof) is not compatible with scrunchies, I guess.  I’m not deeply bothered by the loss.

I think it was that episode in “Sex and the City” where Carrie makes fun of Berger for not knowing that the lady with the scrunchie was a tourist, that made certain types of women (who care about such things,) to temporarily shy away from using scrunchies.
