For me, I was questioning the purpose of this season long before it began, but assumed there was no I way Meryl would come to town if it wouldn’t be worth watching.

It would have been nice if the show had tipped its hand in this direction, but my thinking is that the Perry video shown in court might be used to mitigate any punishment–it wouldn’t be good PR to prosecute women protecting their battered friend, if if they did panic and make up a story.

Was it is as solid as the first? No. But I have no regrets spending Sunday Nights with a show that delivered such fine performances, most especially Kidman and Streep. Just watching the cast work their magic even during some bumpy narrative issues, was always and consistently rewarding. And that in no small part to

When I saw Mary Louise bustling up to the house that night after her day on the stand I thought, “Lord help us, that woman has a gun.” I was very relieved to have been wrong.

I came here for this. Grammys are indeed handed out like candy on Halloween. It’s debatable how much more worthwhile an Oscar is considering how much rarer they are to receive yet how often they have been misawarded (I’m especially looking at you “Crash” and Gweneth).  Either way those certainly aren’t Oscars that

Anyone who bases their political voting preference off of any celeb endorsement or “feud” should have their right to vote stripped from them.

I know plenty of women (myself included) that are HUGE fans of the MCU, and most of them know more of the comic lore than the men I know.

In case you needed your weekend ruined, Disney has just announced the next decade of Marvel programming at Comic Con 2019.

Because she plays Jane Foster, who has a history of taking up the Thor mantle in the comics, and Gwendolyn Christie does not. Christie’s awesome, but she’d be a weird choice if they were to recast Jane.

Okay, mine is lame (I have a birthday the day before a holiday and they told me the holiday was everyone celebrating me), but my mom’s is hilarious.

It also has to do with the fact that the airbag may hit a shorter woman (or children) in the face or throat. This is a known problem for years, and car manufacturers have done little or nothing to correct it.

I'd bet money it’s already on their January schedule. My vote for the two guests: PFT and Jessica St. Claire.

I think he’s Magical Mr. Mistopheles and it’s after he brings Old Deuteronomy back. DEAR GOD! I remember this show.

I need to hear that one of these pampered fuckers has dropped the whole payout of a major film on Warren or something before I’m going to get excited.

It’s not seeing the forest through the trees.

I’ve long wondered if part of the issue is the term “privilege.” It makes folks think of being “privileged,” which sounds like being wealthy, which isn’t what’s really meant. What’s meant is stuff like “you have the privilege of ignoring race, or saying you do, when you feel like it.” And “you are less likely,

I’ve been surprised by how incensed some white men become when we have a conversation about white privilege, and specifically white male privilege. And I’m a white woman, in the UK. But, they mostly come back a day or two later and say they’ve thought about it and they’ve had a shift in perspective.

You know what always bugged me about it? I had no issues with the door thing, but Jack and Rose had been running around in the bowels of the ship drenched to the skin for a loooong time before they wound up in the water outside. Seems to me they both should have succumbed to hypothermia almost immediately.

Once upon a time, being ‘liberal’ just meant, in part, that you considered the rights and wishes of marginalized people. The right-wingers seized the battleground and turned it into a slur.

Fundraising has not declined because Wen was president. Fundraising has declined since Planned Parenthood appealed to Trump’s National Labor Relations Board to break up their unions in 2018, before Wen’s time. Sorry she couldn’t pull them out of that spectacular nosedive. They walked back from that move for the PR
