I was expecting this to the a lot worse. The movie looks fun and entertaining. Going for the Mr. & Mrs. Smith type of comedy. I love that movie, so I’m in.

BTW, candidates like Tim Ryan just viscerally bother in the most negative of ways. It’s most because they tell lies about their own party. Dems have tried every which way to court mostly white, mostly racist voters in the “heartland,” to a degree that is often embarrassing. And yet all your hear the Tim Ryan’s lie

I don’t understand why William’s comment is a thing. My mom’s gay and I have a lot of friends that are gay and they all navigate life just fine, but I’d still worry about how my child would be treated if they came out as gay. Support them a million percent, but it’s my DUTY to worry about them. Knowing they’re

Warren killed it. Go Liz Go!

According to the Washington Post (sorry the graphic is slightly askew)

While I think a lot of candidates made good showings for themselves tonight, I’m inclined to agree. If I had to vote in the primary tomorrow, I’d vote for Warren.

That said, I found myself thinking back to the utter circus that was the Republican primary debates in 2012 and feeling pretty damn good about the future.

I’m not sure what’s so wrong with what William said. I’m sure Meghan and Harry’s kid will face a ton of prejudice and bigotry, even from people within the aristocratic elite. I’m sure a homosexual child of King would have hell on his or her hands too. It’s tough being the first and people really aren’t as accepting

If it was a legitimate shooting, the body has ways of shutting that whole thing down

I realize I’m spamming here, but this is how it starts. A poor woman of colour outside a dollar store. Some day they will come for the lower middle class single white woman who miscarried because she couldn’t afford to work only one job while hella pregnant.

When I said let the crown pass to Charlotte, I meant in lieu of the children he wouldn’t have, meaning she would be his heir.

Agreed. The pressure would absolutely come from outside the monarchy. For one thing, a lot of people who are interested in the monarchy are also deeply conservative. It’s hard enough when royals are straight, and it’s fairly obvious that public scrutiny made William and Harry miserable growing up. Paparazzi basically

Harry’s kids can get away with being gay, but William is direct line of succession and that means his kids have got to do the old royal duty, and you can’t get away with donor, in vitro, or adoption with the old Royal Blood; it is strictly het and within wedlock.

I’m not sure I get the snark over William’s comments (beyond the legitimate discussion about the word “decision”). He acknowledged that the issues would be the result of society’s failures and that’s something we all need to work to change. Given the scrutiny Meghan has faced, undoubtedly in large part because she is

As long as you’re white and have money and power, no one gives a shit what you do!

The British tabloids are a goddamn nightmare so, uh, I kinda see his point. And there’s plenty of homophobic people who’d throw a fit about an LGBTQ royal. Just look at all the racist abuse hurled at Meghan Markle :-( And, uh, remember the role of the paparazzi in his mom’s death.

Shit like this is why I don’t eat steak. It was never physical violence, but psychological, burned into my memory forever. Being forced to sit at a dinner table for hours because I didn’t like steak as a small child by my mom really did a number on me. My other option? Being grounded for a week. This happened nearly

I mean I do not shave my pubic area but I do shave my legs so it is relevant to me; I don’t understand the confusion here?

So all I saw is a baby realizing that if he doesn’t eat, he is going to be punched in the face just as Mickey Mouse was.

People are fucking disturbed. I’m reasonably sure these stuffies are just stand ins for the kids themselves.

POLAR SELTZER FTW.
