Joke’s on them. I wasn’t going to Gamestop on Thanksgiving or any other day.

If your GF hated the wire you should have broke up already. That’s the reddest of red flags. Like overly-enthusiastic sports guys who will watch anything with a uniform but “just can’t get into basketball.”

Some of us have had the best of both worlds for years

5, 6, and 4 are also good. 1-3 are pretty bad

Haha I didn’t want to read that whole thing but I’m glad I did.

Crickets, naturally. Guy is going on tons of rants but can’t answer this obvious leading question, because he would be exposed.

But but we are not addressing that problem. And we are not giving the government more authority. We’re solving a non-problem that just hurts consumers.

yeah

I was born in the early 80s and grew up knowing without a doubt that dinosaurs were a type of reptile. It’s so freaking strange and cool that “every school-aged child” knows that they were obviously birds now (Thanks, Jurassic Park). yay science!

Can confirm hooligans — my 13 y/o Cousin filled up his super soaker with gasoline, then had 9 y/o me hold the lighter while we accidentally caught the garage on fire.

Motion to change the spelling to kekistocracy

yeah there are plenty of tried-and-true alternative-history novels that could have been adapted. If they are doing it from whole cloth it’s going to be bad.

I got my CCNA in 2001. I know exactly what QoS is. What in my comment makes you think that I think QoS is anything other than traffic prioritization? What part of QoS do you think is relevant to this discussion beyond QoS being a form of traffic prioritization?

I see what you’re saying. But QoS always violates network neutrality by definition. There is really no debating on this point.

Quality of Service is a violation of net neutrality by definition. Of course it may be acceptable in some circumstances and to some degree. Problem is Comcast hates streaming video, so just “Quality of Service” limit streaming video to 256kbps... just during prime-time though where the load is especially heavy.

then deprioritize some stuff like video/cut quality from 1080p to 720p to balance the load.

The best tip is just the tip
