I remember watching my husband play MK9 and Scorpion is being all butthurt about how Sub-Zero killed all of his people and Nightwolf is like, "You know you're not the only one who's lost their people . . ."

IMMORTAL WOMBAT!!!!!!! Seriously though, I am loving the hell out of this game. I've actually played more than my husband, who is an avid gamer.

Oh he did. Where do you think Buffy came from?

Holy crap, she would make an AMAZING Klingon!

I always felt sorry for Laurie about this. He loved Jo, Jo loved him but not like that, but he wanted to be part of the March family so bad he married the worst sister. That was one thing they did really well in the film; how much Jo rejecting his proposal broke him.

As Prof Bahr? Ohmygawdyes.

Goddamn it! Jesus Dredd was just so amazing and FUCK. Why does everything I love have to be ruined?

Punching vampire babies isn't a worthwhile cause?

But with, you know, a vampire and their pedophile caretaker. I see it more as a dark fairy tale, and once you'll watch the movie you'll know why.

Oskar had some . . . incontinence issues in the book and came up with a way to help it.

But voiced by a male cis actor though.

Book Eli identified as . . . .

Nope. Nope. Just nope. The Swedish movie is this beautiful, dark fairy tale. The book (which I highly recommend) is this horrifically beautiful dark fantasy. Making this into some teen twaddle TV show is going to be a bunch of fucking bullshit. The story wouldn't work for serialization. It has a very clear end.

That happens with cats. Which as a cat owner made me laugh.

I liked the Mike episode, it was really good, but it felt more like a Breaking Bad episode than BCS. Not that it was a bad thing because Mike the Murder Man was one of my favorite characters on BB, but it was so jarring in tone compared to the rest of what we've seen on BCS. BSC is very much a dark comedy; the

Not everyone is aware of the magic of Sex Toilets, Butthole Songs, the Matlock suit, and Roundhouse kicks. We should forgive them for their trespasses.

It was like that in the books too.

You know, since it was the tune and not the actual words, it probably comes under the Fair Trade for Parody use. So no royalties needed.

There totally needs to be a superhero called Murder Man now.

This was such a good episode, but it really felt like Breaking Bad. Which isn't a bad thing; Mike was one of my favorite characters in the show. So this look into his backstory was both heartbreaking and fantastic.
