So that rat catching dog was still hanging out by his master’s rotting body in King’s Landing. I need this season to end with him being adopted by someone and living out his days peacefully running around the golden fields of The Reach because he’s the goodest boy.

It was incredible to see her put aside all the behind the scenes drama and pay tribute to Luke Perry by guest-starring on Riverdale as the random woman who Fred sacrificed his life to save.

I was really sad to hear about this, though it’s obviously been coming for a long time.

But what you end up with is an effective monopoly that gives Netflix all the power. There are multiple cable companies and multiple retail distributors that studios negotiated with. It was an effective industry. Netflix is one platform. If they don’t have to compete with anyone, they can negotiate better prices for

This is a point I’ve made often as well. The Netflix model was good - everyone makes their stuff, screens it in theaters or on TV, then licenses it to Netflix as part of their second-run strategy. Everyone makes money and sticks to what they do well.

With most other nepo baby actors, I would dismiss this out of hand as a slightly more sophisticated PR tactic...

While I certainly don’t feel sorry for her, it’s undeniable she’s been put through the ringer, both for things that were outside of her control as well as for her own flaws and shortcomings.

Gene?

Child, I am old enough to have made many mistakes, wronged people I cared about, and being given second chances with debatable amounts of deservedness. There’s a big difference between genuine penance and having almost zero consequences for your actions, let alone being officially rewarded for it. Fuck you.

Everything about his speech was suspect. He’s used the “black men are martyrs” as a shield despite the fact that he is clearly an abuser, and then he makes sure to name check all of his celebrity support, and then made sure to hold up his fatherhood as a shield. None of it felt genuine.

Surely there are more deserving people. Without getting into it too much, I spent the last year consumed by fear and stress. I went to court and the judge ruled that my landlord was allowed to evict me. I appealed, lost again, but because I made enough money working 70 hour weeks with little food or sleep, losing 85

I just don’t agree Hollywood is the *most* morally bankrupt place on the planet, nor that it has the *most* morally bankrupt people in the world, that’s all.

Remind me why this guy gets to come back when Armie Hammer--who was never charged, let alone convicted of something--is selling timeshares? Is it a complexion issue, or it more complicated than that?

Okay but again, she didn’t “out” a SA victim.

I want to stay out of it because I know them both and I empathize with both of them and obviously it’s a horrible situation for both of them.”

Ok Katy... but empathizing with a rapist and equating the horribleness of the situation is awful. Sure, you can say “innocent until proven guilty” but put some critical

Was she gossiping, or was she seeking support from a friend about how she had been assaulted by a serial rapist and who his other victims might have been?

Ugh, man.  My 8 yo daughter’s favorite singer is Katy Perry, and it annoys me to no end because I dislike her (Perry, not my daughter) so much.  She’s just the fucking worst.  The sad thing is that she actually had a really good singing voice when she’s not singing her own horrible songs.  Her brand of “feminism” is

Yeah, the convent thing, the pushing for Caruso, and simping for Musk, she’s just kinda been the worst, especially for her music being so mid.

“I believe in innocent until proven guilty and I believe in justice.”

Homelander shouldn’t have even needed that drop of sweat, he should have been able to hear Hughie’s heart beating and breathing being just feet away from him.
