The same applies to Star Trek fans. Both DW and ST were progressive from the start and have continued breaking ground. The trolls can’t seem to accept it.

Pat McAfee gets it.
Right? Did they forget Davies’ first run and the entirety of Torchwood?
I just *love* the troll complaints I’ve seen that insist that LGBTQ inclusion and storylines are the result of Disney’s involvement (because, you know, Disney is definitely known for all of their trans characters) and not because it’s an organic inclusion by the showrunner that brought us ‘Queer as Folk.’
I will never understand bigoted Who fans. Their ideas are 100% counter to the message of the show. The Doctor would get in their faces and tell them how wrong they were. They would be the craven immoral humans collaborating with the Daleks.
A movie with nothing but Marvel 3rd-stringers as the characters.... That’ll need a buttload of Marvel-groveling goobers forking over their cash to keep the flick from being a bomb. Yeun made the right call.
If this was happening in a random parking lot just from the regular sun I would agree. But that’s not the case here, it’s a random more or less unique situation and I think it’s unfair to expect a car company to build around a very specific unique circumstance.
Musk removed safety lines and so on because he disliked the colours. And at SpaceX he is actively “discouraging” people from wearing safety clothes for the same reason. He also had workers disable safety measures on the machines so they could work faster. His factories are not places where safety is “drilled” into…
Perhaps you should have not bought a 14 year old car that has had who know what done to it
He wasn’t exactly a villain; he didn’t make crass and racist jokes because he was ideologically driven. David Brent tells jokes because he just wants people to like him, and he often knows when he’s crossing a line.
The big problem here in the US is that we don’t ban enough dangerous drivers until they kill someone. The man who broke my back, fractured my skull & left me in a brief coma was never injured in the five life changing injury accidents he caused with his drunk driving thanks to owning a Mercedes 500 series. In the…
Big Cars have always been around, yes when a big car hits a smaller car or a human the results are worse than when a small car hits a small car, but there is more to the increase in collisions and injuries than just size of the vehicle.
“Nobody wants to work!”
The idea behind a minimum wage when FDR instituted it was that anyone who worked 40 hours a week deserved to make enough to live on. It rewarded honest work with an honest paycheck. Telling someone to get a ‘real’ job is unhelpful and condescending, and demeans the work of millions. ‘Entry Level’ should not mean ‘Pover…
Right or wrong, bicyclists need to adopt the same strategy that I use on my motorcycle: Assume that every vehicle anywhere near you IS TRYINGTOKILLYOU. Does wonders for your situational awareness.
Decades of putting bicycle lanes in the “door zone” doesn’t help. Better bicycle infrastructure separates bikes from cars to mutual benefit. Also I have seen far too many social media posts about deliberately dooring cyclists to believe these are all accidents.
Not sure how there is all this surprise. Fallout 76 was the same issue and they would not or could not admit that their development was flawed. It took years for them to finally get around to fixing the issues that plagued that title.
I mean, I liked Starfield in a vacuum, but it definitely didn’t live up to the hype, and it definitely wasn’t your typical Bethesda game where you put in 100 hours without touching the main quest. In another year maybe they manage expectations and turn it around, but in a year with as many truly great games as 2023…
I know there’s at least some people who enjoy Starfield, but to me it’s a classic case of “do the least effort possible because we have enough goodwill that we can get away with it”.
Good thing they are getting rid of Android Auto and Apple Car paly, those things can be distracting to drivers.
