Even better, it seemed like she wrote her own jokes. It really is a job for professional comedians, but it sounds like she went out there telling “jokes” the same way she does in her “books.” They aren’t really jokes, just petty bitching while making snide remarks about the opposition to a bunch of people who agree

“She doesn’t even go here”

You're an idiot.

I’m not going to rebut each of your dumb bullet points one by one because who cares. Best of luck to you. Hope life never throws a flaming shitball right in the middle of your perfectly budgeted life.

Haha I’m guessing you know EXACTLY who will be taking care of your kids when you have then and that is your wife. So gtfo with your terrible talking points.

I also don’t believe for a second that “this isn’t because she’s a woman.” I sincerely doubt he’d call Obama a bad parent.

Realistically, in a society where a single income is too little to support a family, is there anyone who “can have” kids by your standards?

News flash: Not all of us live in the city. Not all jobs are based in the city. If your grandma has a car she can’t drive, offers you its use, and it makes your life easier, you effing take her up on it. That is not an example of a bad decision.

If a woman stands out, she’s “showing poor judgement”?

Why do you assume there’s public transportation to the job? Where some may consider driving a fine automobile to work a luxury, others see having easily accessible public transportation as one.

“I have access to a car, but it would be poor judgement to drive that car when I could use public transportation!” Is essentially what you just said.

She also didn’t know she why lying about pretty much anything but being able to walk. She didn’t even know her own age because her mother lied to keep her under control.

She killed her captor to escape being a hostage. The boyfriend committed murder, but she escaped an entire lifetime of captivity and brainwashing.

Yeah, it’s not okay when a 24 year old man knocks up a 17 year old girl, so I’m not sure why the reverse would be okay with anyone... I guess it just gets glossed over in a story like this though, because on balance, it’s one of the least fucked up things about this story.

Yes, obviously, murder is not a good thing, but how can this woman be held to the same standard as someone of sound mind who had a relatively normal upbringing? Most of us would know we had other options. Did she? Did she fully comprehend that she had legal options, given her upbringing, and the physical/mental

I’m going to have to disagree with you on that one. It sort of justifies it. I’m not saying she should go free, but 10 years sounds about right to me

This actually sounds like self-defense. I realize it doesn’t fit the legal definition, but given the torture this woman endured at her mother’s hands, is it really so difficult to understand how someone in her position could snap?

Yes, university library. Simultaneously comfortable yet torturous seating so you tolerate it long enough but don’t fall asleep. Strangely heighted tables. A weird mix of vinyl upholstery and laminated wood.

Very corporate cafeteria or the breakfast room of a Hampton Inn.

Right? Or like, a community center. Or the study area at a university library. All circa 1992.
