Wow, even that was bullshit huh. 4 years researching it my ass.

“Fuck ‘yo cake.”
Someone could write about how he ran away & why he chose to do that. There are ways to talk about this man in other ways that give kids a better picture of what slavery was like.
Something like that. If you didn’t learn to have moments of happiness in what was otherwise torture, you’d probably go insane.
Even if – and that’s a big ‘IF’ – you accept the premise that some slaves had relatively okay lives despite the universal denial of their basic humanity, how is it a good idea to discuss such a touchy subject with such young children in such a lighthearted way?
The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force. :)
The proper method for eating Papa John’s pizza is to throw it in the garbage and then order a pie from a real pizzeria.
So much work! I prefer to shove it all in my mouth and pray I don’t choke. (giggity)
The sqare-ness of this is practically avant garde.
I love this argument so much. It's not sexism or racism! It's just that white men are innately superior to women and people of color!
Exactly, I thought this to while watching the movie. Ren has some natural talent, he seems to be good with using his force powers to control and manipulate things, but when it comes to fighting he doesn’t have a great deal of skill.
Did you link to sources of actual comments to back up your assertations? Because it doesn’t appear you did. So why then would you bother to ask for the same from me?
The Death Star made a kind of sense, a big honking gun that you parked in orbit and shot non-compliant planets with. It is stupid, but militarily stupid. We’re building railguns on top of destroyers which we will (at great expense) park off the shore of non-compliant states on Earth for much the same stupid…
It was wizards.
Note what... I didn’t miss anything. You fail to see where they’re being crticized for their competence. Being criticized for over competence. Superman is invincible and a beacon of pure good. His detractors CONSTANTLY point this out as WHY they don’t like him. Superman is WIDELY criticized for being too powerful.
For one movie/book though. Every other subsequent book/film makes the audience well aware Hermoine is better than him and he is largely where he is because everyone else has put him in that spot. He is never shown “out magic’ing” Snape, Dumbledore, or Voldemort. The only thing that happens is plot and happenstance…
James Bond has had a Gary Sue franchise going for the last half a century.
That was his one thing. He wasn’t particularly crafty, or good at magic. The two skills that would have been great considering his biggest problems involved evil wizards.
Harry was ridiculously incompetent. He got through everything by sheer luck.
I wonder if there was no previous relationship in the sense that he probably never broke up with her. I had a coworker this gullible and it was heartbreaking, she didn’t know how to just cut him off.
