That's HORRIBLE. And it'd be hard for your parents to swoop in, kick him out and find a new tenant? Still, he knows where they live, in your position I'd never feel safe there if I visited even if he didn't live there anymore. That's horrifying. And he raped you, and it seems like they have no idea (I can't believe

GWU? Super-super-super senior?

This is one of those slowly-building-this-isn't-so-weird-but-oh-my-god-holy-SHIT-that's-weird stories. It starts slow, just so you know.

...and your grandparents didn't kick him out?? He's still there? So basically you can never go visit your grandparents again? Uh.

I want to say something both witty and comforting but all I got is "JESUS FUCKING FUCKFUCK CHRIST"

If you're giving someone the silent treatment, you can't very well call them, can you?

"In my mind, I'd finally met a girl who was just as smart as I was, and quite possibly smarter"

But I don't think we're that much of an exception. As I said below, going gaga over someone is far less about their looks than about a peculiar reaction of physical and mental chemistry.

"Women will give men a chance despite not having the hots for them. Men do not do this!"

Make that three hetero couples, though you've never met me & my husband. He's noticeably more attractive than me. And it doesn't bother him one bit. In fact, I tru;y believe that he truly believes I am beautiful, despite the fact that by Western social parameters, I am not. Sorry.

If she mentioned that they ran her into the ground in her video, you can be pretty sure that that's one of the reasons behind her quitting. So I think you're wrong there (I'm also more acquainted with this story than you might realize. I do live in Taiwan).

I love 'em, except I think Sansa looks a bit old. Not that young = good, but that she's only 14 or so (maybe older in the TV show), and in the poster she looks about 25.

When the only way to keep a job you want is to give up your personal life, then you are kinda being forced. Now, she was able to quit, but plenty of people can't quit (can't get another job in their field quickly enough, don't have the money to quit, that sort of thing) and are still made to either give up their life

Uh, but the problem is she had no time to do what she actually enjoyed because they worked her into the ground.

It made me sad because...she can't quit, even if she hates that aspect of her life. And while "sit down with your family to tell them you need more domestic support" seems like the right solution, it never seems to work out. :-(

Way to miss the fresh pink point.

Chartreuse is such a phony.

Interesting!

Limoncello is that interesting Generic European guy you met while backpacking who had your interest when he was talking about politics, philosophy and poetry, seemed really forward thinking and enlightened, and then turned out to be sexist and homophobic (and in the closet).

Happens in Asia too. Taiwanese men literally buy young Vietnamese, Chinese or Thai women because they feel Taiwanese women are "too demanding".
