This is absolutely no comment on how I feel about how United handled that girl but Holy False Equivalency, Batman.

1. Wait, so there was a man sitting BEHIND them in the Uber?

Oof, that’s awful. Regardless of the genre of music, people used to not put up with that bullshit. Not to say back then was perfect, but I’ve seen creeps catch some beatings because they wouldn’t leave the kids alone.

It is pretty gropey now. When did feeling up teenagers and college women become the purpose of the show? It’s all one giant red flag now.

It is like a frat house party now. Who the hell wants that, besides frat bros and sorority whatevers?

The bro culture is why I don’t enjoy Movement anymore. You can’t be female and dance alone or else they zone in on you. And not to mention all the fondling and feeling up. It’s disgusting.

Wait, so now young people will go to the desert in the American Southwest to do drugs and have cathartic, spiritual experiences? I can’t believe no one has ever thought of that until now.

They really were. The Detroit, Kalamazoo, and Chicago scenes of the mid-90's were pretty chill, and there was some amazing music being produced at the time. Also tons of E, Special K, and acid. That shit had a pacifying effect; I think in 8+ years I saw maybe one fight.

I’d love to go, but I’d probably be laughed out of that place because I’m 54.

I went to see Galantis last year at an indoor venue in a college town. I’m 37. I could not believe how naked the young women & men were at the show & I’ve done my fair share of partying. Security was checking people for drugs & I’m like, “there is literally no where that person can be hiding drugs except up their ass

This made me laugh uncontrollably. Thank you. Have this.

Tickets to warehouse parties were like $10. Tickets to one day of these things is close to $200.

Haha yes! Hit the nail on the head.

One of the last raves I went to was EDC 2010 right before it moved to Vegas. I was always very shy and that “no judgement” atmosphere really brought me out of my shell (or maybe it was the drugs lol, Ecstasy has weird and interesting effects on your emotions). I stopped going when the ticket prices started

Bottom of hole? We used to DREAM of dancing in bottom of hole. We used to rave in cardboard box filled with broken glass, and the DJ used to make use dance 29 hours at a time until our feet were just nubs on the end of our knees. We didn’t have hands so we had to knock our heads together in order to make a beat and

OHMYGAAAWD. That’s ridiculous. Everyone knows the only place to rave is at the bottom of a hole, and if we wanted a beat we had to smack each other. A lake would have been a luxury!

There are two types of people in the world:

i bet the vibe was nicer though. more plur and less hyped bros.

EDM sucks.
