while the core of the band is four dudes (mostly), there are a dozen other people rotating in and out every year, six of them women. there are usually 2-3 women in the band each tour too.

Also, Broken Social Scene has mutated through the years but has almost always had women in the group, several of them.

She only recorded with the band and played a handful of shows. They usually have a woman when touring but it rotates so we don’t really know who would be playing this festival. Could be Amy Millan, but maybe Feist or Emily Haines could make a special appearance since it’s in LA? Who knows.
