exactly. It works by the copper ions basically boring holes into the sperm cells rendering them incapable. And even if a sperm cell managed to get in an egg cell, the copper ions make it so that implantation cannot take place.

That's exactly why I got the Paraguard. Hormonal Birth Controls really numb my emotions (my highs aren't as high, my lows aren't as low... sure great that they help with cramps and PMS symptoms but they absolutely killed my libido. Or gave me constant yeast infections because HORMONE OVERLOAD.)
