All I want in this life is a version of this movie where Mike Myer’s commentary track doesn’t play over the film running SILENTLY in the background. I’ve never been able to watch it because of that, and I really want to. I even returned the first DVD I bought of it because I thought it was defective.

Ben Elton did a routine about shit like this YEARS ago which literally changed my life (I was young and dumb). The bit was all around the then-new “easy action pump toothpaste” dispensers that were sweeping the drugstores! Less product, more waste, more $$$ but they stood up and were New and Shiny and EASY!!!!11!

I had neighbors who did that when she got pregnant and I never thought well of them ever again. I wish I could’ve rescued their poor old cat but was unable at the time :(
