Exactly. I think this was not a fun family even without Leelah's particular obstacles.
If he loses the beard and wins an Oscar, then we'll know.
He's just a big ol' pile of questionable life choices. Vaping? Come *on* Leo.
I'm pretty sure Leo finds me gross because I'm a woman in his age bracket.
My only thought here is, "Gross beard is gross."
I'd peg those as "we aren't indulging worldly nonsense" presents. I mean, fun doesn't have to equal expensive. We didn't have a lot growing up and we got socks and stuff, too, but there were always fun presents mixed in.
It's kind of what it sounds like, huh? :( :( :(
Even just generally, those are sad presents. Clothes for Christmas and nothing that's just for fun? :(

Thank you!
Holla!
Considering his very next tweet was: "Burger." which has been retweeted 77K times (and favorited 110K times), I believe you are correct!
Yeah, wherever you go, there they are :P
Yes, I imagine he left it to his wife to deal with. I am quite familiar with silent men who let their wives deal with all the shit and never say a word because confrontation is uncomfy.
It's really difficult not to hate this woman. I grew up in this kind of smug, judgmental, repressed religious environment. People thought they were so nice and generous when they condescended to hate the sin, etc., but the stifling of individuality, of independence, of sexuality of any kind was just so fucking stupid.…
I think you're right. I literally left the entire Gawkerverse for about a year because the comments everywhere just got so awful and it does seem to be better now since the return of the grays. I miss the old star days, though.
