The Tito’s/Tanqueray thing reminds me of this time back in my mid-20s when I went to this party my then-roommate’s friends were throwing. I didn’t really know the people at this party, but there was free booze, so whatever. I’m making random small talk with this dude who, it became quickly apparent, was a total

Invariably, it’s the ones where I get hired.

Gee, I wonder why people who work and live in heavily military communities often have an unfavorable opinion of the average servicemember, while people 500 miles from the nearest base whose closest relation to the military is their stepbrother’s nephew who did 18 months in the Coast Guard and got an other than

You know, she is not new

Asshole,

I'm always not quite sure how to feel about that statement. Certainly, autism has been cast as the boogeyman of the anti-vaccine movement. Most people with autism can function and do okay.

I always pronounced it "Bonnie" personally, but I can see an argument for "bon."

I met John Ritter in a bar and he asked me to hold his beer. Then he immediately yelled, "BARTENDER! THIS KID IS GETTING DRUNK OVER HERE!!", which made everyone in the bar turn and look, and me blush like crazy (I was 11). Then he bought me a water... which, errm.. was free. Because water. Also because open bar..
