Debatable. I was a founder for Warframe, and it had a cult following back then as well.
Warframe is a really bad example. It is one of the most lucrative and successful f2p games on the market right now. It’s almost always in the top 10 played games on Steam ratings. So I am sorry, I disagree with that comparison.
Yeah, if any other company made this exact same game it wouldn’t get 1/4th of the attention. It’s just because Blizzard has the money, reputation, and a massive fanbase that will buy anything they make.
I think it is less that “does it matter if this is a male or female” and more of a producer going “we have to make at least one female, because if not people will get upset”. It’s about being forced into adding a female character into games nowadays, and less about “could this be a female instead?”.
Hot, but I’ll be honest, it looks CGI with all those filters and effects. I seriously thought it was an oil painting or something.

As much as I want to love this and be hyped. Hollywood has showed us repeatedly that it can’t do game to movie adaptations. So I will just... hang out and watch this one from afar with Eagle Vision until it releases and we get reviews.

AH, shows my ignorance then. I just know Marvel and DC are very protective of their IPs. So I made a silly assumption.
I am curious as to why the decision was made. It was extremely popular, and from what I could tell it was well selling. There must be some internal reason, or licensing issue (if there is one, I bet it is Marvel).
If you want to see things in such a black and white spectrum, that’s up to you.
Playing Paragon here, double XP weekend so having lots of grind time. Typically not a MOBA person, but I love this one.
