I think STOPPING was about how the Nazis wouldn;t hurt their own families after spending a day hurting their victims.

that never tricked me - but he was always entertaining - and it was just a story - a cautionary tale every Tuesday - I didn't need them to be one way or the other - except the hippie clothes.
maybe both ensouled vampires had a magical chip already and were controlled and made useful at the end of days
both vampires were depicted as knowing what a nice person would do
it made sense to me given their relationship up to that point - if she's that sad and devastated - this is not what a friend does.
no one ever comforted her after one of these beatings, right?
omg so her physical relationship with him prior to the failed rape was also rape?
if someone bumped into you or hit you with a car, how many people would actually say that felt great, do it again?
I wonder if she was devastated because he wasn't a demon. And in real life, a nice Jewish girl being dealt cruelly by a seemingly nice Jewish guy? Was Katy Loomis also Jewish?
I never saw that as a not wanting to be Buffy and her banter thing which is all he knew about her - I would have said I already have ziploc bags.
I don't think Angel was tortured about anything - he just says he is but he's really afraid of sorcery against him.
does this mean that Xander is better than Riley and in his affections because he still tries to help Buffy without anything in return?
maybe he said that to Xander to educate Xander
he always read dark to me but ruthlessness against demons is satisfying
yes to Andrew deserving jail but Ben was actually the Rollo Tomasi side of Glory - he wanted to live and he begged Giles.
it seems very impure for someone to not be a platonic friend but to behave so just to have proximity.
I don't think so. She's not attracted to him. And after so many years, when he is clearly her lunch buddy - no way. He is incapable of causing her pain - he can cause her damage by collaborating with her enemies but he can't cause a hook on her and yank.
was she depressed? that's not the same thing as traumatized which I think was what she was - I don't know about the violence and the repulsiveness of being with Spike - as if being beaten so much and taken down a peg or two, she'll finally seek comfort from him.
too bad he wasn't real and a human/demon free- he had the best personality of all her options.
I really liked that cool demon played by Hinton Battle - I think that guy in The Roots looks lke him but then side by side comparison, not really - it's such a cool face.
