I think the Billy Idol thing was okay but cheap on anyone else - I liked him right away for the snark and the skinniness and the softness because I had a customer from the pacific northwest who was super nice and a huge scaredy cat and he was easy to get along with and Spike underneath the vampire and the fake cool

I think he's probably a nice guy and gentle with people which is how he made Spike acceptable - like The Wire actors being nice people so they can play bad people. But I don't think he thinks of himself as hot and when other people feel that way or are disappointed that he doesn't look like Spike with the perfect

was that coming back from heaven and being stuck with the unsatisfactory friends and family?

I thought he was the skinny snarky buddy in an otherwise boring podunk town when you deserved to live in the city. S-P-I-K-E spelled relief.

based on his friends? cuz Buffy needs a lower grade nice because they're not cool enough contingent?

wasn't he her height? remember what she said to Giles about Jonathan trying to get closer to her?

he never once suspected that she was trying to survive Angel and Darla and every other demon behind them because she was working alone?

I thought he was pretty dangerous and not bland at all.

I think her too long skirts on her perfect dancer bod was very weird. her good looks (good enough for Prince) downplayed was very weird as well.

absolutely not - the banana peel kept in check by his surroundings.

I liked him because he was government hunting demons even though Lindsay Crouse was too into him (very Germanic right?) and I just waved that off as that doesn't mean that he is one of them - just that they approve of his discipline and bearing.

I am SO happy about that. That glib so perfect to the right people thing in high school but secretly very snarky and very cutting people off as he did with Buffy - that read as very closeted to me in high school and I didn't like that character on Buffy - he was written to be very untrustworthy which is really smart

they were in a movie? his movie family other than buffy seem very … b list.

that actor really freaks me out

hookers.

I thought that episode in Angel about staying away from her and the immortal was about evil being in fear of good and knowing when to not upgrade the charade.

yeah they were only just "a little bit stupid," right?

I didn't even notice their physical relationship - it always felt like it was all about the dialogue so I never really think that Buffy had any real relationships on that show - that it didn't count until after her slayer duties were done.

I thought as actors, he seemed more sensitive than Boremebananaz and that was better for the actress.

I missed out on all of it but I had no idea what my little classmates were telling me when they talked about Luke and Laura - uh? I was just going okay, okay, wow like I do when I don't understand Mandarin and go dui, dui, xing.
