My going philosophy from another man wise in the ways of wine

I heard a dude interviewed a couple years ago who was considered one of the best noses in the business. He’d written books on the subject too. He kind of tore into the construct of wine tasting and its attached descriptive language. His opinion was, if you like the taste, it’s good wine. Period. Could be a $6 bottle…

I have zero snottiness in wine drinking. My actual favorite box of wine is the Corbett Canyon Merlot. It’s like $13 and puts all other red wine boxes to shame.

Exactly. But I bet a lot of old white men expect a really loving obituary from the people they’ve made miserable. I hope a lot of future obits include, “although generally a good person, grandad did vote for Trump in 2016, and that’s pretty gross.”

I would have expected more celebration for someone that punched a nun and lived.

Maybe it’ll give us motivation to help our friends who face these problems. I don’t see what Niantic could possibly do about this, maybe there’s a solution somewhere. If anything it’s on the community to help them out.
