I believe the reason Robin's death hits especially hard is because for someone who was so kind and generous, he was tormented from within by depression and all the shackles that come with it. There's often a duality to genius that's been documented throughout history; for a man who loved his daughter and family as

Don't be ashamed, frankly I'm confused too. It's very difficult to get an unbiased understanding of whats going on, especially with people on both sides of the issue posting on my news feed.

"As a Jew, and as someone who has been raised to always support Israel (which, according to my parents, is my spiritual home, although I have never been)"

I think that posing as someone who has cancer online and other internet lies are relevant to this. It's not the same as bringing up drinking in a rape allegation. She made the allegation online and the details are dubious at best. I don't think it's inappropriate at all to note that she has a history of fabricating

I have no idea whether these claims are true or not, but Morrissey's entire "why would someone lie about this" stance is either breathtakingly naive or simply dumb. People lie about absolutely EVERYTHING, often for nonsensical, ridiculous, mental illness-related, or (yes!) malicious reasons that don't actually benefit

I have the biggest ethical dilemma about Suri's Burn Book. It uses paparazzi pics. BUT not all paparazzi pics are created equal, since sometimes there is parental consent. AND the joke is the persona of a celebrity child who's snarky about fashion and social class, and the point seems to be to skewer public obsession

I wonder what Suri's Burn Book has to say about this. Though it's obvious now, I never thoughtfully made the connection between nasty paparazzi tactics and the delightful snarky commentary of those posts containing said paparazzi photos.

I've written, and deleted prior to submission, a ton of comments on this excellent remembrance. I'll just say this. I've know so many people who have thrown away their talent and their lives because of drugs and alcohol. What I've learned is that there is no rational response when this happens. I mostly just shake my

Wow. This is the ultimate in concern trolling.

Best music news in a while. She's crazy talented. Must have sucked to be trapped by your own label. The mixtape she released last year was excellent, especially lead single, Andre:

Wrong Graphic Is Wrong, Graphic

They had no right to a photocopy of your SS card, only the number as required by law. They can verify the number electronically fairly simply. Being that there are over 30 different versions of the cards since the 50s, it would be impressive if they could verify a fake by looking at it. Many people lose their card.

I just love this picture so much and it always breaks my heart when I see loving and tender men with their daughters (mostly cause I have such a shite relationship with my own father) and it breaks my heart even more to have read those comments in the post about renting the kids and whatnot.

Look, I will just break down what we're thinking and pretending we're not here:

The DASH name is an acronym, which stands for Dietary Approaches to Stopping Hypertension. The recommendations in this diet came out of clinical trials conducted by the NIH, intended to lower an individual's blood pressure rather than lose stubborn love handles or get six pack abs. The clinical study for the diet

Who cares?! I have a recipe for homemade fudge brownies and my butter's just about room temp. :)

When Jez (and other outlets) wrote outraged articles about the Melissa McCarthy she came forward and told everyone to calm the hell down because she pulled the coat off the rack and wanted to wear it (in fact I think she said she liked it so much she wanted to steal it) and that she loves and endorsed the photo.

Yeah, but come now — if you got this you wouldn't really think the highly unlikely possibility that it was a real, true gift from the POTUS, right? I wouldn't. I'd think "Oh, this is a joke! I will open it now!" Which I'm pretty sure is more or less what she said she thought.

This woman is a class act. She probably could have sold those private photos to a magazine for some money.

Well if you liked this one...
