I would have so preferred tough-as-nails, powerful, sass-talking Rogue of the Jim Lee/X-men cartoon era Rogue in the movies instead of the wallflower version we got instead who just kept getting captured and crying a lot.

Not what you’re looking for, but as close as you’re gonna get: Marvel Heroes.

Rogue has always been my fav! I think she’s one of the most developed heroes in comics. Both character wise and power wise. She needs to be in the spotlight more often.

Rogue would make a great superhero game.

No mention of MVC2 or Xmen vs Street Fighter?

X-Men #173, the exact image and moment when I became a fan of Rogue and she’s always been my favorite X-Gal ever since.

As long as it includes her other two biggest powers: her southern accent and that sass!

I love Rogue, and that version of her. I’ve always wished they would do something with the character, where she learns to control her powers and releases the one’s she stole from Ms. Marvel, along with the memories. It would be interested to have Gambit realize he was really in love with Ms. Marvel, or to maybe see

X-Men vs Street Fighter Rogue is where it’s at. Hadouken and Shungokusatsu ALL DAY.

Singer’s X-Men movies are bad because they’re these really weak on-the-nose allegories to homophobia, which is all well and good, but it’s done at the expense of literally every other theme the X-Men have approached, like race and coming of age. Seriously, characters like Shadowcat and Jubilee approach their mutant

Marvel Heroes 2016. She's a beast.

Honestly I’ve always liked Rogue (especially from the X-Men cartoon days when she called everyone “sugar”) and think, as you do, that she’d make an excellent video game protagonist.

Those two are also perfect for their own Netflix Universe. They each have great stories that naturally intersect overtime and Branch off to follow their own path. Plus we can get some real Magneto which would be dope.

I think that’s a great idea. Rogue is criminally underrated and undersold. I’d even like a Telltale Style game with her where we Explore her background. Rogue and by association Gambit, are probably the two most underdeveloped Marvel super stars.

Well, but Jezebel isn’t without bias. It’s not the Hulk Hogan effect. It’s the Sam Biddle/Bernie bro effect. Stories that twist the reality of her actions are a constant thing here. Why would an interview be treated any differently? While it’s important to have good, strong interviews, the bias of your organization

Well, when I went to the Jezebel panel at Politicon in LA in June, the two Jezebel panelists (I’m sorry, I can’t remember exactly which two writers were there) were basically shitting on Clinton the whole time and complaining that Bernie wasn’t going to win the primaries. The panelists also totally downplayed the fact

Jezebel has spent to past year tearing the first woman nominee. Jezebel is of the ‘I’m so feminist that it doesn’t matter if a woman is ever president or even succeeds because representation is irrelevant and feminism is just another word for income inequality’ left. You deserve the wilderness.

She is a serious person and your blog is faux serious whiny snarky and unrealistic. Sooo that’s probably why. Also you are related to Gawker and it likes to destroy people’s privacy. Sooooo that’s another reason.
