I’d bet they are using total compensation and not wages. i.e. medical benefits, retirement benefits, PTO accrual, etc.  It’s very deceptive if they are using the total compensation as wages though.

My Giulia has a warning that says when the system is blinded by rain; it chimes, a warning illuminates, and it says something like “automatic braking disabled” on the dash screen.

Also, driving in snow and slush can cause unexpected false positives when a slush-block falls off the vehicle in front of you and the car mistakes it for a small child and locks up the brakes at 65mph... I really hate ADAS.

Just yesterday morning, I drove through some of the heaviest rain I’ve ever experienced. Visibility went to basically zero with no warning. A camera-only system would’ve surely stopped immediately in the middle of the highway, which is the absolute worst thing to do.

Correct. This is both the labor market and customer market forces in action against a corporation who appears to have gotten to big for its britches. I hope they loose billions and can be hung up as a poster child for how not to do business.

the company was also going to eliminate pensions for everybody hired after November 1, 2021. Also, there’s a huge gap between workers hired before 1997 and those hired afterwards - the workers wanted to close that gap.

I support those workers when the’re struggling, because if they win it makes the entire working class stronger.

They turned down a 6% raise?  Because of how profitable the company was over the last year?  Hmmmm.  More power to ‘em, I ain’t gonna hate.  But I’d love to get a 6% raise for 2022; mine will probably be 3% like it always is.

When I was picketing with some nurses at a hospital (supporting) There were teamsters also sympathy picketing with the nurses. some truck came to deliver construction equipment and some upset and scary looking teamsters got on their cell phones and the trucks turned around and left.
