I assume you’d need to keep three or four grand in a bank account just for this thing once you bought it. But man, are these fun. A friend of mine’s mom had one, and while I never drove it, I was driven around in it plenty of times. It was an absolute monster. They had a couple of drag cars, and they did some bolt on

As long as you go into this knowing that there will be additional bills, and there will be, then this is a NP. It’s a mid-aughts MB, so at least it is post biodegradable wiring harness. But with 160K+ miles, there will be wear and tear maintenance needed, and if you’re not a DIYer, then that will get pricey.

Let me stop you right there before you talk about what a headache old German cars are, or how much of a hassle it’ll be to fix it. This is a legit AMG Merc (before they started diluting the brand with the lower tiered AMGs).

A win is a win!! Congrats to him!!

Congrats Bubba! Probably not how he pictured winning his first top level race, but a win is a win!

I am on a reddit thread called r/IdiotsInCars (that is where I saw this particular viral video for the first time) and you can’t imagine how many dishonest people there are out there who try to claim that they were backed into on a roadway after rear-ending a car. I am now researching dash cams because there are so

Was in an accident a long while back. Young driver, maybe 17, froze up and stopped in the middle of her left turn when she saw me coming, leading to me hitting her.

This is a Lambo;

This may well have been staged, but not everyone who owns/drives a Lambo is a complete asshat.

Woke up once after a hard night of Schmidt beer and White Castle to a cat licking my face. No Yachts were involved.

Every IndyCar driver is laughing. You still have power steering, you still have power brakes, you still have traction controUH I MEAN advanced fuel map management.

This video goes through a lot of the reasoning if you’re curious

HB native here. I can’t begin to describe how frustrating this is. I’ve considered volunteering to help cleanup but I don’t think I can take the time off work. Despite being an oil town for over 100 years, we’ve never faced a disaster like this.

I will be happy if they get rid of some of the “winglets, barge boards, et cetera.” They vex my eyes and my eyes don’t like to be vexed.

A lot of it has to due with the ban of re-fueling. The cars got significantly bigger during that time period.

I think the biggest reason for the more boring racing is the shear size of the current cars. They’ve gotten truly huge and are currently longer than a Suburban.

LS swaps are overdone, yeah, yeah, but these are the perfect candidates.

I owned one of these. It’s probably the cheapest way to own a V-Dozen, if that’s your goal.

I got 19MPG in my 1991 BMW 850 last month driving to Chicago. 17.5 combo highway and city. So not bad.

This looks good in all the right places.  Dare I say the price actually seems fair.  I’ll give this a solid nice price unless an inspection turns up something that hasn’t been disclosed.  I think the only item I would change would be those wheels.  I’m not a huge Jag fan but if this wasn’t across the country, I think
