I’ve had multiple Boring Cars over the years, including my current minivan, which I do quite like. It’s a dark grey 2014 Grand Caravan SXT with a tan interior. You can almost smell the vanilla.

I - well, my wife - has the 1998 Corolla VEthat she’s owned since 2008. 400K miles, black with tan interior, 3-speed auto,

Any $2-3k Craigslist 3800 car is gonna run, it just is. Maybe run bad, maybe have a few bullet holes in it, but it’s gonna run .

To be fair, the trucks also elicit an emotional response from the sort of goddam wieners who find driving a Super Duty truck to be some sort of validation of their masculinity. I work in a cube next to a person of this nature and... yeah, talk about a goddam wiener.

I bought a 2009 Mazda 5 Grand Touring last year because I am able to load my wheelchair into the sliding side door without assistance.

I get the hate for how lame they are, but my mom had a late teens Soul and there wasn’t really anything to dislike about it. It handled well, had enough get-up-and-go to not be scary to drive, and hers was well optioned and made a great little road trip car. She’s since upgraded to a ‘19 or ‘20 sportage and it’s even

A star for her honesty

Yes. when i have the opportunity to drive my kid’s kia soul. it reminds me of the fun I had driving my 78 rabbit back in the 80s.

The GM J-body. 1st Gen, 2nd Gen, 3rd Gen. Don’t care. Love them all for the little tin cans they are. Mine has been oddly lovingly cared for in its 31 years of life and I’ve continued that. It’s slow, old, shoddily built and somehow still…fun.

My new to me Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale 1987. it’s big, boring, not even rear wheel drive but I always driven small 4 cylinders cars. It’s big, comfortable, the interior is down right retro and I love it. the body is rust free and that is incredible here in Canad. Here is a pic.

A car that made toast would be luxurious.

Subaru Outback

I’ve driven my fair share of Explorers of this vintage, and my buddy’s mom had an Aviator. The crazy thing is, as close as this LOOKS to the Explorer, it is actually a much nicer experience. The power is fantastic, the interior upmarket, and driving dynamics deceptively good. Lincoln could have done better with this

It’s more that the Aviator nameplate was resurrected in 2020, again as a luxury counterpart to the Explorer, but this time with a completely unique body shell.

I ain’t afraid of no ghosts.

A car that made toast would be luxurious.

This iteration may have only lasted three years, but the Aviator’s still in production.

Couldn’t hit NP fast enough after seeing that interior. I’d figure out some sort of use for this Aviator.

Honestly, I love my Zero. I use it for errands, commuting, off-roading, and just for fun exploration, but (and I say this with huge respect for the engineering that went into it), it’s not a track “day” bike - it’s a track “hour” bike.

No, thank you.

I go to food blogs and comment on all the recipes I don’t like.
