Fantastic observation! Both artists were/are known for their strong work ethic at the peak of their success. It’ll be interesting to see how Taylor does down the road, especially since she seemingly has some business savvy. Lifestyle app, anyone?

Your story made me super weepy (at work!). I’m sorry you had to go through that. That’s terrible and unacceptable behavior. I’m so happy you’ve found a wonderful OB, though.
Something about food makes certain people irrationally passionate about telling others the right and wrong ways to eat. Assholery knows no bounds. I’ve had multiple (!) lectures from (white) guys about “authentic Asian cuisine.” I’m fucking Vietnamese. Stop telling me the “proper way to eat pho,” that shit runs…
I agree, it’s not great PR. But I can see it as a “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” kind of situation. If they chose not to say anything at all, and it comes out later... I can see the headline already: Vegan Restauranteurs Secretly Meat-Eaters!!!!
Thank you! I have family in the Mekong Delta who live in organic fruit and veg splendor, and people in that village would do anything to have access to healthcare available in America.
From the trailer: “She fought for her music”
Actually, Paramount tested using CGI to make white background actors look Asian. That’s right... They didn’t even bother to consider hiring actual Asian actors for non-speaking roles where they are literally just scenery for the movie.
OMG. I’m just looking at older articles and this comment gave me chills in light of today’s news. :(
You and that show are perfection.
100% co-sign. She’s a Hollywood It Girl who happens to be a woman of color, so she got the role.
WTF is this crap? The original art were always so gorgeous.
HOLY CRAP. My cousin is living in the same apartment with this guy! In her own room, though. I was just recently introduced to Peter, and he seemed genuinely excited about his box (he’d just installed string lights). It’s roomier than you’d think, but personally I’d be wary of having dates over.
Yikes. I’m a manager at a popular, upscale restaurant in SF, and looking at the photos and the menu is embarrassing. The concept is neat, but it’d be better as a wine bar with snacks instead of a full-service restaurant. What a mess. It may be “all-natural” and organic, but I can tell that slice of cake cost Au Fudge…
