yeah, the book is about as Darkplace as it gets. I'm really not exaggerating when I say there's a line or two like this on every single page.

that he does that 'technique' essentially sentence-to-sentence in Red Rain is insane. the very first page has a character step on a dead person's hand that turns out to be a bunch of writhing monstrous tentacles that turn out to be a pile of dead starfish.

RED RAIN is those cliffhangers at an almost sentence-to-sentence frequency. it's AMAZING.

thanks! basically just replying was good, haha - I wound up being able to fall asleep after showering/shaving. usually I have some techniques I'm supposed to employ but I haven't been practising them in my non-manic downtime so it's harder to remember I have them handy. fixing that shit asap.
