Can most of the male writers on this site not write articles that sound like you’re all fucking sneering at your keyboards when you have to talk about something/one/etc that you’re not exactly 100% fans of?

I was watching the Jimquisition on this the other day and he made a fairly interesting point about Blizzard on this one. They argue that the matter is to keep politics out and keep the optics on the game itself. But if someone were to post something that is arguably political but less controversial (and certainly not

The person who will follow Obama’s lead is Warren.

This. I watched a judge chew out a 45 year old dude who halfway through the selection process stood up and told him he had forgot he had a wedding he was in.

This was not a review. This was a Wikipedia-type scene-by-scene, detailed, spoiler-stuffed breakdown of every major plot-point in a movie you didn’t like. That’s not how you review a movie. Please stop writing whatever the hell this was and calling it a “review”.

Don’t shame “snitching”. Exposing criminals is in the interest of society as a whole, and we want more people to come forward, not less. Yes, we’re talking about a garbage person, but the information he provides is valuable. And there is nothing valuable, or even moral, in remaining loyal to a criminal gang. So, don't

Democrats: “Bernie is bad on race.”

I think it’s embarrassing that they won’t release the vote totals, almost certainly because it would show the votes of 50-something “leadership” members being counted as though they were equal to the votes of tens of thousands of rank-and-file party members, and effectively overturning their support for Sanders. The

They will never show the vote totals because they vote totals will make them look like stupid corrupt assholes.

So I take it this is WFPs latest distraction attempt to avoid releasing the vote totals?

Too bad he can’t blame his past homophobia on people hacking his blog.

This is par for the course with Nathan. He doesn’t show any real engagement with the industry, and jump on the over sensitivity band wagon like his job depends on it. It’s a thankless job, really.

Oh look, someone is proclaiming “hot take” reinforced with a meme. Clever!

AVClub, or How I Learned to Stop Caring About a Film’s Quality and Become a New Moral Majority.

This is a problem that plagues much of rock music—men can be mediocre, women should be exceptional.

You should probably stay away from the comedy if you're going to take it that literally.

Epic literally doesn’t concern themselves with opinions of their customers. I would almost go so far as to say they’re openly hostile. Their entire business model is designed to cut the customers out of the equation and take away their voices and power in the market.

Within the reddit were plenty of legit complaints about the fact that it’s unfair for a skin to cost 18 bucks, that you can’t buy eighteen dollars worth of in-game money, you’d have to pay even more to get a twenty dollar pack, that you could buy other games for twenty bucks that are quite good instead of a simple

It’s crazy but true that video game discourse is being held hostage by a couple of hundred dipshits on Twitter and 8chan. Every time anybody wants to make a point, bigots and trolls swoop in and ruin it for the rest of us, and then we have to waste our time and energy writing form responses decrying threats and

Oh look. Another Kotaku article that lists all the things they see as wrong with Valve/Steam yet glosses over anything wrong with Epic or the EGS. No mention at all about how Epic treats their employees as far as “crunch” goes since Fortnite got popular even though Kotaku loves pointing out that issue with every other
