Woah Nelly came out just as I was in high school and had just moved “home” to Canada from the US where I had lived since I was 18 months old. That album was on constant repeat in my car!
I listened to Whoa, Nelly on repeat in my junior year of college. I remember seeing the “I’m Like a Bird” video and thinking she was one of the most beautiful women I’d ever seen and I wished I looked like her. I’ve always thought she’s the coolest, and this just makes me love her even more.
