Honestly is anyone that surprised Valve are a Microsoft shop in every way but name only.

The Bourne game tanked at retail and Activision has the Bond license to which it can cash in on so it's parting ways with the franchise.

Massive may have something in the works as this was posted in their forums;

Well hopefully some other publisher will pick the game up so that could be a silver lining to this Activision cloud.

I really hope Brutal Legend finds another publisher, Double Fine have the worst luck when it comes to them.

Some companies cannot afford to always follow that mantra, Blizzard has a golden goose in the form of WoW that allows them to operate like that & Autumn Moon are a tiny outfit who just expanded to 11 people.

According to Square Final Fantasy XIII is not PC bound

Well that's a kick in the nuts for Somethings Awfuls Lets Play forum probably has something to do with a few bad apples who ruined it.

brieeyeball - "PowerPC Processors are just about equal to an X86 at twice the clockrate"

It's the Vivendi Games division which is facing job cuts not actually Blizzard.

Variety weblog has the low down, Bungie are working on a Halo game and non-Halo title but a dispute with Microsoft put the kibosh on both games announcements.

iD have always been admirers of Jobs from NeXT to Apple I'd say for certain that it is running natively as Carmack a while back was talking about the Mac and how he liked it so much for development (plus iD are doing the iPhone as well).

Sounds great to me.

That looks pretty good to me though it is a little "too busy" at the left hand side.

jonomcleish - don't even bother trying to find or play it the sequel was very poor and Eric Chahi wasn't really involved with it anyway. He was faxed the occasional level design to which they ignored his comments, that should give you an indication to his involvement and before it was finished he already knew it

I'd class this as a good thing in general, UI's and user experience is something Microsoft just doesn't get and Allard is one of the few at Microsoft who do. So hopefully he will be able to push MS in the right direction in creating a better user experience for all it's products from windows to the xbox.

crabman484 - considering Blizzard are big Apple fans making them "Mactards" too I'm surprised you even play their games with that attitude.

I'm honestly amazed if there are any long time staff left as Lucasarts to begin with, all the best & brightest responsible for X-Wing, Full Throttle and Grim Fandango left a long time ago.

fixed link I hope

Prior versions of Windows (media center edition) never supported the DVD Library out of the box because it only enabled when a DVD changer was connected to the PC.
