I like how this accidental event gave me a better impression of the speed and magnitude of threat an avalanche poses better than any documentary and waaaaay better than Hollywood. I'm not saying that it never sank in before now just that this gave me a better understanding of how you don't outrun the mountain after

Now I will share your Pavlovian response to this. I hate you. I mock your ethnicity and national heritage. I laugh at your choice of hair style. I scorn your choice of breakfast cereal.

Minus the veins I guess. I'm picturing something more like a pile of dick lips and boobs.

I have worked from home since 2003. My job is tied heavily to communicating with people on a global basis. 90% of what I do is either done on my individual system, on VPN accessible corporate assets or via the phone and chat systems. The other 10% requires travel (global). It is not a working condition that is

Comedy Genius. Comedic Genius implies that he knowingly does it on purpose. That may be giving him too much credit. [Pretty much what you said] Some of his bits and roles have been very funny. Others... well, my vote is still out.

Fun party gag: Turn the batteries around in the card shuffler and wait for an unsuspecting person to load up the cards and hit the button. Cards all over the place. At least that was they way they used to work.

I'm stuck on an incident call that won't end trying to resolve an issue with broken software for something that isn't my responsibility. This just made my day. And I don't even know why.

As said, I use this on boots. They have a mix of eyelets and metal anchors probably a lot like your loops. The laces stack on top of the shoe in a slightly weird way but it does work. Of course that doesn't mean it will address your original complaint but it will work with whatever you have to work with. Good luck.

Sadly they are very narrow. As the owner of EEEEE width feet I could use these as skis by the time the fit was comfortable. I was very disappointed because they seemed well built and looked like a nice alternative to the VFFs I use now.

Just curious but have you tried to lace your shoes differently? I use the 'Ladder' method to make some of my boots a little more comfortable for my wide feet. [static.fjcdn.com] Just a thought.

At first I took this as just a knock to the author's poorly written post. Once I got to the 'Shakespearean' part I totally reread the original post in a horrible pseudo English stage accent and it turned into something awesome. I will be trying this with future posts. +1 internets for you.

I was wondering the same thing but you are dealing with potential disruptions to large amounts of magma which is electrically conductive (I think). You get enough of it in quick motion and I would expect an inductive current is possible.

All of you should be ashamed of yourselves. I am truly disturbed by your lack of appreciation for the magnitude of this potential breakthrough.

Way cool and looks like it was a ton of fun with a huge amount of anticipation built up but in the end I'm thinking that dropping what amounts to an 800 lb lawn dart with no expectations for guidance will generate more than a few "uh-oh, we didn't think this through" moments.

Only if taken rectally. End even then it has to be like 3 or 4 times a day...

I wish. I, like many other people, have what can be described as an unflatteringly shaped head. Its not lumpy, pointy nor does it look like I'm wearing an odd helmet 24x7 but a shaved head just doesn't work for me. An anthropology teacher once pointed out that I have the most pronounced /almost/ occipital bun [en.wi

You let those homunculi sort out their own problems.

Where the hell is the source website and the 'Buy Now' button? I must have this at libraries, reading rooms and the occasional coffe shop where one couple/pair isn't just too loud but waxing moronically about the dumbest shit.

Your friends and family probably don't deserve you. (Way cool, BTW)

Anyone who doesn't know this is already dead.
