@jaimemicha: Hrmmmm... no mention of a beach ball... I'm guessing not?

I'm getting flashbacks to this concept for some reason, the Abisko sink/urnial. [gizmodo.com]

@The K Gee19: No foul here. There is no spoiler warning possible for that movie. The whole thing was spoiled prior to release.

@Stem_Sell: Dammit that just gave me a flashback to college. Mixing quantum mechanics homework with laundry day was never a good idea.

@Norbs: Those reviewers are misinformed. It actually determines the exact momentum of the sock with its advanced detection array. At that point the location of the sock is no longer possible to be identified and it ceases to be a part of the load. Its never the whole load. Those reviewers assume the Boson-Higgs is

@aec007: Don't shiver! I'm not sure the error correction could keep up with that during your Walmart discount heart surgery.

@Graviton1066: ... payload fairing which is made from old soda cans and bailing wire that is .... The rocket is a nice bit of technology though.

@DukeOfPwn: "Trying to communicate with anyone from another country? Good luck with that." <- That's a language issue, not a technology one. ;)

@deathvanquished: I always envision someone pronouncing petaflop with a British accent (using a long 'e') and arrive at the same basic joke. My punchline would be something along the "fight fire with fire" or "it takes one to know/spot one" approach.

@kingmaker: Agreed. Even if he calls it his gizmo I don't want to read about it here. Moving on.

That guy is using skis the way a helicopter uses skids... Just in case.

OK, great idea for a watch you can change faces for at a moments notice but I don't have much use for a watch of this price and feature set that doesn't have the ability to have an alarm function without the use of a pair of headphones. (and I may be wrong here) No beepy-beepy to get my ass out of bed or wake me up

@CodeJanitor: The belief was that it would be like a "death ray" and not radiation poisoning. The effects were touted as capable of penetrating all materials and instantly killing the occupants. In reality it was still a big ass bomb, the deaths from the "neutron effect" portion would probably be in the same

@Geisrud: But this was shot at the bottom of the ocean. It's real dark down there and this was the only source of light. And the water was cloudy. And other excuses.

@McMike: I beg to differ, its worth submitting. I believe the phrase goes, "If you can't be a good example, at least be a warning" ;)

@Saturn666: Nope. As it is a circus routine you should only try these things with an audience. And possibly a tent.
