I own a Z4 M Coupe. It’s a lot of fun to drive, especially on the track. The S54, the brakes and the hydraulic steering are awesome. The navigation/infotainment system is not - so I would recommend getting one without it.

I had an E86 Z4 Coupe. It looked cool. That was it. I know the Mercedes and Boxster were probably better cars, but I didn’t like the way they looked. That was it. Now, mine was close to base and was not fast at all, didn’t handle that great, and was spartan to put it mildly. But it looked cool.

Except it went from Z3 to Z4 about 10 years before the current naming scheme began. I’m pretty sure they just increased the number by one when they came out with the (now old) new model.
