I agree. Sales have been strong. BMW sold 111 on average each month after launch in 2014, 189 each month average in 2015, and is averaging 112 each month in 2016, totally just north of 3,600 of them on the road since launch in 2014. Not bad for such a car.

An expensive sports car doesn’t have to be a super sport. If that was the case Aston Martin and dbs would have been extinct a long time ago. They never beat anything on the track. I8 has the look and good PR and futuristic. I would take one over a Ferrari.
