is this movie really showing a different catalyst for the multi-verse, separate from Loki?

As the article above points out, the NYPD aren’t interrogating Parker. Also most of the things you mentioned would be plot points in the film that isn’t something you need to explain in a trailer.
You can, if you don’t watch them? This is probably one of the things you surely have power to make happen.
Even in the comics, Strange can be kind of arrogant and sometimes casts some boneheaded spells.
It’s at least in character with Comic Strange. He’s done stuff like this a few times.
There are some speculations (in YouTube or Twitter, I can’t remember) that Doc Ock in that trailer was addressing Tobey’s Peter character instead of Tom’s. Of course, this is purely a speculation. So take it with a huge chunk of salt.
Doctor Strange: “Now, Peter, in order to travel through the multiverse, you need to wear this black & gold version of your costume.”
I was always going to see this, but I feel like this was what I needed to see to really get hype. It looks rad, you get a lot of character in it, there’s more than one funny gag in there without making it feel silly--exactly what I want from it.
OK, the live streamer grading the fight in progress is a pretty good gag.
She’ll probably be back even sooner then that. Probably the end of this arc.
Ryan Reynolds and Taika Waititi have been friends for ages. Before even Green Lantern, I think. Which shows exactly how good friends they are.
It’s brilliant marketing no matter which way you look at it.
It’s an advertisement for Thor, Deadpool, and Free Guy
And the future of the MCU
but audiences owe it to themselves to understand when they’re being pandered to in rather obvious ways.
Looking forward to the “What if Asgard was populated by sentient, divine alligators?” episode.
There’s no word on just how long the first season is but, by the look of that trailer, there are infinite possibilites of just how long this show can go.
Every episode ends with it being Mephisto, except for one where it was Nightmare.
Technically, her full name is Captain Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
A friend of mine just had a great idea for a second season: Each episode handles a separate WandaVision fan theory. Do a running gag at the beginning where The Watcher reads somebody’s hot Twitter take all YOU WANNA SEE HOW THAT WOULD’VE GONE SMART GUY?
This was seriously one of the best MCU (or -adjacent) trailers I’ve ever seen. The Boseman episode is going to wreck me.
The Peggy Carter one just looks awesome.
