At least the final season of GOT is entertaining. LOST final season was boring AND terrible.
“Maybe you have a character sum up years of trauma in words that seem to diminish the years of trauma she’s faced.”
Couldn’t agree more with what you said. A lot of the complaints with season 8 have to do with budget, shooting schedule, etc. All practicalities that go along with a show this massive.
I always felt that way about HOUSE OF CARDS.
I dunno. You could land a SHIELD helicarrier on that forehead.
I remember reading this book and thinking it would make a fantastic movie.
I don’t know what to think, and that’s the way I like it!
Ian Reid’s latest book FOE is fantastic too!
And I’ll forever hate them for it.
As unfunny as CRASHING is, I find myself strangely drawn to it.
That was an incredibly dark ending to that episode.
Loved that about the finale too. That they didn’t just toss her into a relationship so that she’s now taken care of.
Traister is always a fantastic guest. I know many of you don’t watch the Bill Maher show, but she’s frequently on it and knocks it out of the park every time.

Well, your mother is just up the stairs.
Sure but the ones they did direct were very okay!
Wow. Interesting list. I strongly disagree on both PRIVATE LIFE and HEREDITARY, but the rest are pretty solid to me.
David Simon and his writing team get screwed every year.
A couple of debut novels really blew me away this year: BABY TEETH by Zoje Stage and CHERRY by Nico Walker.
