Without giving anything away, it plays on fears created by some images circulating social media in the real world. Low budget, but the acting is decent and there are some real skin crawl moments. They weave a pretty outrageous story in a way you almost believe could be plausible.
Definitely worth a watch.

I second The Bay, great creepy flick that flew under a lot of radars. Banshee Chapter was another cool little horror film worth watching, similar premise to It Follows, but IMHO done way better.
