You don’t know my life. ;)

I liked STB more than ST09 (STIDerpness is but a wild, fevered nightmare to me). Yes, the story and villain were meh, but the crew dynamics, the family feel was perfect. I’m actually looking forward to the next film. It left me hopeful rather than disgusted (like the nightmare).

Things can go worse.

Star Trek Federation really sounds like it could have been interesting. I’ve always thought that the way for Star Trek to move forward is by actually moving forward: no reboots, no going back in time, always be set in a future period than previous series.

Same here. Hunter’s banter with the rest of the team was a highlight of the show. I thought they worked well as part of an ensemble but weren’t all that interesting when it was just the two of them together.

Now playing

I didn’t realize just exactly how titanic of a nerd Colbert was until I saw James Franco challenge him and get utterly destroyed twice.

Prequel doesn’t seem like the right word. It seems more like a period piece. Just with the time period being our future and Next Gen/DS9's past.

Yes. And it’s making me question if I was too harsh on Smallville. Oh boy...

By Season 10 of THE FLASH, there’ll be about 26 different Barry Allens standing in that room, attending the bi-annual “Should We Change This Moment” conference. It’ll probably have slides and snacks.

Marvel is now a part of Disney. What Marvel makes is a mere drop in that bucket. Its primary purpose is now to feed the movie/TV machine.

Stephen Amell is a great Arrow, but Damon could be too. Failing that...Green Lantern redo?

Asian living in America here: I personally *do* like having non-Asian allies talk about the lack of representation of Asians in well, everything, since you fuckers in the majority seem to ignore our opinions and existence anyway. So please, non-Asian person, just sit the fuck down. You don’t speak for all of us.

Fine, let Arthur Chu speak to it then. NOT these asshats with their fake outrage.

You’ve made an important point here. When you look at the books, each of the surviving Stark children (aside from Rickon who isn’t shown) spend time growing up and discovering a different world - Jon has the Wall, Sansa learns the Game of Thrones from the nobleman’s perspective, Bran explores the mystical world and

I didn’t really like the theories that Arya wasn’t Arya, but I liked them better than the alternative - that Arya had been handed the idiot ball in order to advance the plot. That plus the very visible plot armor is extremely poor writing, and I’m pretty disappointed.

To be fair, we did run the Rogue One details about the AT-ACTs and Shoretroopers separately. Not really spoilerrific though. I’m sure we’re probably missing about 5 billion “hot scoops” that Kylo Ren is Rey’s second cousin twice removed and Episode VIII is really called The Reykoning or something that have been posted.

The only reason the ‘present’ sections aren’t well received is because they tend to be entirely exposition. I know I’m in the minority, but I love the modern day bit of AC Lore. I think most people want to get back to the stabby-stabby, though.

Honestly when we got this from our Art team, I joked that for one time only, I should use it instead of a line break between every section.

Dude. You should have warned about the spoilers. If only there was a banner for the first two banners. Rabble rabble rabble.

Come on. The name of the column is Morning SPOILERS. This is literally the only column on this site that doesn’t need a spoiler warning.
