Donut Media (youtube) did a piece recently on cool cars that suck to own. You had to unzip the window (plastic flap) to open the inside door handle, to get in. These were rough but neat. V10, light weight, no traction control, yep, not for driving :-)
If it runs and the body is mint then it’s worth this in collector value. It was never a good car to drive. I’ve heard they didn’t even have real windows, just a zipped up clear plastic. But this is a nice little affordable history piece.
Much like that Dodge Hurricane 6 that was going to be in all the places the hemi were, and now the only Hurricane 6 is in the Wagoneer for more money than the V8. WTactualF Dodge?!
Pretty sure the 1984 Fiero had a better power to weight ratio than any mass production stock V8 they made that year, Corvette included. Edit: Nevermind, they hadn’t put the 2.7L 232hp in the stock version of the 1984, that was a Nascar promotion or something like that.
“I’ll just sign the paper to get this moving along and deal with this later.” (walks away, then runs back and grabs the pump)
Baby formula bottle, middle of 100+ summer in Missouri for about 4 days leaking/dripping into my back seat behind the baby car seat.
Oh that, no that’s real.
Did you also catch that they drove from New England to KCMO on rubber tires that were at least 20 years old.
Malcolm in the Far Right
True, but those athletes have usually accomplished something before they do that. Perhaps Frankie should be a rapper, or a NY congressman :-)
Reece will probably ruin it for him, and Dewey will tell.
I am tired of FWD. I have a 2018 grand caravan sharing an engine with every jeep. They are RWD and get significantly better mileage. The room under the van is vast, there is no reason whatsoever to maintain FWD in the Grand Caravan/Pacifica. With RWD I’d get better mileage, weight distribution, and room in my engine…
If FB marketplace is an indicator, I believe you could get a 2003 Pontiac Sunfire with 250,000 miles for $15,000. But you will need a bit more since it “needs some TLC.” :-)
Prequels are all the rage!
YES! Finally a prequel to Home Alone
FINALLY, a sequel to Joe Dirt!
My 2015 Altima had a CVT failure well under 100,000miles. Which I later found out was so frequent that they should have been ordered by the feds to replace it. To add salt to the wound they charge a fee of $6k for a replacement that cost less than $1K to manufacture (the only upside to a CVT). They put me off CVT’s…
That said a dose of radiation that large will be very easy to find with a compass (if that radiation affects the magnetic field) or a Geiger counter starting with a sensitive low range counter and moving up to less sensitive counters as they get closer. I bet they could track it from miles away. It’s literally putting…
